1. Communication Profile
Info: After completing the Communication Profile session, participants will be able to:
• Describe their behavioral tendencies to others
• Distinguish the behavioral tendencies in others
• Identify strategies to improve communication with different behavior types
• Recognize style flexing as a means to improve communication
2. Communication Cycle
Info: After completing the Communication Cycle module, participants will be able to:
• Build rich relationships with their presence and voice
• Recite the course motto
• Apply the Communication Cycle into their routine communications with others
3. Non-Verbal Impact on Communication
Info: After completing the Nonverbal Communication module, participants will be able to:
• Consider the impact their nonverbal communication has on others
• Enhance their communication by leveraging their nonverbal communication skills with others
• Adopt the “I Am the Message!” motto in their life and leadership
4. Reflective Listening
Info: After completing the Reflective Listening module, participants will
be able to:
• Explain the importance listening plays in all of life
• Respond to others using the five reflective listening skills
• Embrace the four commitments (time, heart, listening, motive) that underpin the practice of reflective listening
5. Effective Confrontation
Info: After completing the Effective Confrontation module, participants will be able to:
• Integrate course skills into their confrontations
• Consider the impact of misusing power
• Respect the change process when asking others or the organization to change
• Confront using the “open hands” approach
• Deliver recognition messages to others
