A bus. An accident. Three friends. One gets sent to another world to fight his inner demons.
That’s the story at the center of Otaku Oratorio (OtakuTorio), the NYC Otaku Choir’s first full concert. It’s part anime isekai, part community ritual, part choral mashup of the sounds we love.
You’ll hear music pulled from video games, anime, Asian pop, and folk traditions, all tied together with original storytelling in the style of The Moth. Everything is written, arranged, and performed by the creative volunteers of the Otaku Choir, presented in association with The Rutgers Presbyterian In The Sanctuary concert series.
This is our inaugural performance and we could not be more excited to share it with you. Seating is limited and tickets are a suggested donation, so we recommend securing your spot early.
