We're delighted to announce that Jaki and Andy of the Gardeners Rest will be running our third acoustic music session from 3pm to 6pm in the Café on Sunday 255th January (not a typo... just how it feels by the time you get there!)
*Session Guidelines:*
This is an acoustic music session lasting around three hours, held in our small Café Bistro. All songs and tunes must be performed without amplification, either accompanied or unaccompanied.
All instruments, voices, and musical styles are welcome, from traditional folk to contemporary pieces. The focus is on shared music-making, so please be respectful of others’ turns, keep volumes balanced, and enjoy contributing to a relaxed and inclusive atmosphere.
We welcome songs and music from all cultures and traditions but ask everyone to help maintain a respectful and inclusive environment. If your planned performance might be considered sensitive or potentially upsetting, please discuss it in advance with the event organisers, Andy and Jaki, so they can make a decision. This includes racially or politically charged material and songs containing significant swearing or inappropriate language, though the occasional in-context swear word is acceptable.
PLEASE NOTE: The organisation/hosts reserve the right to record performances in whole or part for the promotion of the venue. We DO NOT claim any commercial rights to any performance and will never post your work for any purpose other than the promotion of the Bistro itself.
ALCOHOL: We are NOT a licenced venue however, we are proudly BYOB for those eating on the premises.
FOOD ORDERS: Due to the footfall at these events, we warn that food can take a while to get to your table. It is HIGHLY recommended to book in advance if you are planning to have lunch on the day.
