Oscar Bruten is a rising-star Australian saxophonist and ABC Jazz commissioned composer.
At a young age Oscar has already received a number of accolades for both his work as a performer and composer. Oscar Bruten has been fortunate enough to perform across Australia alongside critically acclaimed International and Australian artists including Melissa Aldana, Remy Le Boeuf, Dick Oatts, Barney McAll and more. As both a bandleader and a sideman, Oscar performs regularly around Melbourne to sold-out audiences.
With his debut release, Strzelecki Suite, Oscar Bruten has shown himself to be an exciting new voice as both a saxophonist and composer.
