Join students from coastal communities in a challenge to innovate and build renewable energy devices at this annual daylong competition! Teams from grades 3rd-12th are invited to create wind, wave and solar devices and test them in our facilities. Students will also receive feedback from engineering judges with backgrounds in renewable energy and STEM field as well as a tour of the HSMC Innovation Lab and exhibits in the Visitor Center. Teams who place first in the wind divisions are also eligible to compete at KidWind World Competition in May!
