Orchard Renovation Volunteer Session

Following on from a successful wildflower raking session in September and a second session that tackled the Woodland area by Rothbury Terrace, we are holding another session. As part of our ongoing renovations to our Orchard we will be removing grass and turf from around the base of the orchard trees.

The grass competes for nutrition with the trees and this will allow us to fertilise and take care of the trees more easily over the next few years. We are also mulching around the base once turf removed.
