The East Baton Rouge Parish Library’s Special Collections Department and the National Institute for Cold War Studies (NICWS) are collecting personal recollections from Cold War participants on Saturday, November 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Main Library at Goodwood in recognition of Veterans Day.
If you or a family member served or were deployed overseas during the Cold War era (1945–1991), we invite you to share your story and help preserve these important personal histories for future generations.
