Merry at the Mansion

Celebrate the season at the Old Governor's Mansion with an afternoon of holiday cheer, family traditions, and good books. Snap a family photo in front of the Christmas tree, where a photographer will be on hand and photos will be shared on social media after the event.
Head to the East Room for holiday crafts, including decorating a picture frame for your family photo and designing a bookmark. Docents will also be leading historical tours of the Mansion for those interested.
Throughout the Mansion, local bookstores and publishing partners (LSU Press, Cavalier House Books, TBR Books & Tea, and Red Stick Reads) will be on hand to help you find the perfect holiday gift. Each visitor will receive a card to collect a stamp or signature from every bookstore. Show a completed card on your way out for a free goodie!
