Celebration Concert of Operachi singer Juanita Ulloa with stunning original rancheras in intimate duo setting on voice/guitar. The singer/scholar returns to the stage after 8 years of writing, to premiere her new Oxford authored book THE MARIACHI VOICE, alongside touring classical/mariachi guitarist Javier de los Santos, from the guitar faculty at Colorado Mesa University in Colorado. The duo has toured internationally, originally meeting in Malaga, Spain. Juanita has been reviewed as "an elfin woman with an outsized voice" (Leo Stutzin, Modesto Bee) and is Professor of Voice with a private International Voice Studio and voice faculty, Laney Community College, Oakland, California.
