Opening the Door to the Plant SpiritsA Tea Gathering Celebrating Plant Spirit Wisdom
Join herbalist Karine Gordineer for a warm afternoon tea gathering celebrating the release of her new book Plant Spirit Wisdom.
Together we will explore the living presence of the plants through stories, a few readings from the book, and a plant connection exercise.
The afternoon will include a special herbal tea created for the event, homemade lavender cookies, herbal chocolates, and time to gather in community with fellow plant lovers.
We will begin with tea and a short talk, followed by time for conversation, questions, and connection.
Copies of Plant Spirit Wisdom will be available for purchase and signing.

Karine Gordineer has been practicing herbalism and the healing arts for over 35 years. She brings to her practice the wisdom and influence of her Algonquin and Ukrainian lineages, as well as extensive training and experience as a Master Herbalist, Certified Plant Spirit Healing Practitioner, Shamanic Practitioner, Certified Reiki Master, Sustainability Professional, Author, and Educator.
Karine is adept at blending the scientific and the sacred, the practical as well as the extraordinary. Karine teaches at the New York Botanical Garden online and in the Bronx, and has taught and lectured at the New York Open Center in NYC, the Algonquin Center for Cultural Studies, The American Holistic Nursing Association, The Howland Cultural Center, The Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, Westchester Community College Continuing Education, Marist College, as well as a variety of venues in the Hudson Valley and CT.
