'Whispers of a Burnt Sky' explores how shifting atmospheric colours and fleeting moments of light shape our relationship with the surrounding environment. Gilroy translates these subtle observations into tangible form through deceptively simple constructions. By embedding the support frame directly into the composition, she eliminates traditional paint surfaces entirely, inviting viewers to look through and beyond.
