Opening Night: Solo Exhibition & Screen Printing Experience

At the heart of the exhibition is Leitch’s most ambitious work to date: a 29-colour screen print created in close collaboration with Artrite Screen Printing, where every colour was individually mixed, carefully registered, and hand-pulled.
This series debuted to significant acclaim at the Aotearoa Art Fair. For the first time, all nine colour ways are presented together alongside the original painting created for this screen print.
Alongside the prints, Glenn Taylor, Managing Director of Artrite Screen Printing, will present a live screen-printing demonstration, while photographs by Glenn Blomfield document and reveal the intricate process behind the making of the works.
