Bring your own project or choose one of ours. This is your time to create.
Open Studio is Canvas & Company’s flexible, self-paced creative experience for people who want somewhere comfortable and inspiring to make something without signing up for a traditional class.
Bring a canvas or creative project you’re already working on, or arrive with absolutely nothing. Your Open Studio pass includes your choice of an available pre-drawn canvas and our standard painting supplies, so you can simply show up and start creating.
Your Project. Your Pace.
There’s no group painting and no need to keep up with an instructor. Settle in, put on an apron, enjoy the music, and work at your own pace.
Our studio facilitators are available if you need help with your Canvas & Company painting project, but you’re also welcome to put on your headphones, open your sketchbook, work on your own canvas, or simply get lost in the creative process.
Bring Your Own Materials
Have something you've been meaning to finish? Bring it.
Guests are welcome to bring their own canvas, sketchbook, art journal, drawing supplies, painting project, or other appropriate creative materials.
Specialty materials, aerosols, solvents, or projects requiring special ventilation, extensive cleanup, or significant additional space should be approved by the studio in advance.
Designed With Introverts in Mind
Open Studio gives you somewhere to be around people without having to perform socially.
Come alone or bring someone with you. Talk to the person at the next table, make a small micro-connection, or don't talk to anyone at all.
The room can have energy. You don't have to be the energy.
There are no icebreakers, forced introductions, or expectations to socialize. Connection is available, never required.

Your Open Studio pass includes:
- Your choice of one available pre-drawn canvas
- Standard acrylic paints, brushes, palettes, and painting supplies
- Access to our creative studio
- Facilitator assistance with Canvas & Company projects
- Curated music and a relaxed creative environment
Bringing your own project? Your included Canvas & Company canvas can be used during your visit or taken with you to create another time.
BYOB
Guests 21+ are welcome to BYOB. Non-alcoholic beverages and light snacks are welcome too.

Most guests spend approximately 1.5–2 hours in the studio, but Open Studio isn't built around everyone starting, painting, or finishing together.
Come in. Find your spot. Make something.
No experience needed. No social pressure. No need to already have a project.
Just bring yourself—or bring whatever you've been meaning to create.
