Open Morning - Playgroup Taster Class and Introductory Session

Welcome to our Introductory Class - Taster session for 10 months -2 years!*

Join us for a fun and interactive session designed for those interested in our accompanied playgroup Parent/Carer & Child Class for children aged 10 months up to 2 years and families interested in our unaccompanied program. This event will be held at Highgate House School - The Peak, a beautiful location perfect for little ones to explore and learn.

During this session, children will have the opportunity to participate in various activities that will stimulate their creativity, social skills, and cognitive development. Our experienced teachers will guide them through songs, craft and storytelling to ensure an engaging and enjoyable experience.

An introductory talk about the school will be held at 10.30am-11am with an opportunity for Q&A

*If your child is under or approaching1 years old please do come along! We also run Parent/Carer & Baby classes from 5 months old.

Info: Our teacher will introduce themselves to you and meet your child. Children are free to explore and play freely in our specially designed environment, whilst a table activity will be on offer for the children to get involved with. Tidy up time is a group activity to get ready for storytime.

Info: The teacher will lead a circle time with rhymes and songs to follow along to.

Info: Our homemade snacks at Highgate House are made with the highest quality ingredients, snack time is a time to come together and share conversation and food. Please do not bring outside snacks due to the risk of allergens for other children, thank you!

Info: A chance for your child to experience our unique outdoor garden with sandpits, rabbits and play equipment.

Info: The teacher will gather everyone together for a unique Highgate storytime where the teacher tell a story using puppets and the spoken word.

Info: Parents are invited to join for a brief introductory talk in a separate classroom for a brief overview of our school and a chance for Q&A
