Open Mic Renegades is an inclusive community for the people, by the people. We amplify art in all forms, and give a platform for those who are marginalized.

Doors open at 6:30M- we will begin at 7PM and ending the event at 10PM THE LATEST 11PM

House Party Cafe in Bushwick is a lively vibe of art in all forms. You’re all invited to express yourself freely in a welcoming space.

PLEASE NO OUTSIDE FOOD, PLEASE SUPPORT THE VENUE FOR FOOD AND DRINKS!

The community we are building is beyond OMR, it’s all about you! ⁣⁣

Our mission is to cultivate bonds with each person that enters our spaces. We are a movement of inspiration, motivation and love. We are cultivating spaces for those who have felt unheard and we want to open up opportunities for uncomfortable, but very necessary, conversations. Through hard conversations comes healing. Seeing our artists and performers express themselves through their art and passion, fills our hearts.

We cultivate these spaces for artists to have a space to be as vulnerable and as transparent as they need to be — our goal is to harness connection and courage within our artists through our spaces, in efforts to encourage them to utilize their voices; no matter what society might say.
