Open Mic Poetry Night

Welcome to all! Free to attend and to sign up.
November we feature Isaac Ortega is a Wisconsin-born poet, photographer, and adventurer. His spoken word journey started in a computer lab in the basement of his college dorm and it has continued to grow from there. He has had the privilege of sharing his poetry all over Omaha including restaurants, bars, churches, parks, radio shows, house shows, block parties, open mics, staff meetings, living rooms, and a variety of other places.
He loves going to open mics to hear other poets speak because they provide a window into their own lives and their own experiences. These poets inspire Isaac to continue to look for meaning in the world around him and to share what he finds through poetry.
