Open Mic Night at the Bookstore ft. Verde Arzu

Let's dim the lights and turn up the volume for Open Mic Night! Join us as a performer or attendee and cheer on your fellow artists. Play an instrument, sing a song, perform a dance, share your poetry or spoken word, or do a standup routine. You don't need to be an expert - A Seat at the Table Books is a community safe space and supportive environment for all. All experience levels welcome.

Because we are open to the public during open mic, families may be present. Please adjust content as needed.

We have a full-service cafe with coffee, wine, beer, food, and snacks. Please no outside food or drink.

Host: Verde Arzu (she/her) is a powerful independent author-publisher, poet, podcaster, blogger, educator, and equity advocate for anti-racist and anti-Black practices in education. Her works include Rainbow and Promise Keeper.
