Learn bachata with the same group for four Mondays, taught by Patrick and Athina of DanceHouse Calgary.
Each Monday has three parts:
7:00 to 8:00 pm: Partnerwork. Leading and following so the dance feels like a conversation, not a memorized routine.
8:00 to 9:00 pm: Footwork and styling, danced solo. Body movement, footwork on time, styling that is yours.
9:00 to 9:30 pm: Practica. Open floor with the music on and both teachers walking around.
Dates: Mondays September 21, 28, October 5 and 12, 2026.
Level: open level. You know the basic step and have been to a social or two. Brand new? Try a drop-in.
No partner needed. Partners rotate during class, and rotating is optional, so couples can stay together.
Prices: all classes for four weeks $195. One track (partnerwork only, or footwork and styling only) $115. Drop in to one class $30.
