Open Doors Amarillo: a Community Conversation on Service Animal Access
Join Mojo’s Mission for Open Doors Amarillo: A Community Conversation on Service Animal Access, an evening dedicated to education, awareness, and building a more inclusive Amarillo.
Whether you’re a business owner, employee, service animal handler, healthcare professional, educator, student, or community member, this event will provide practical information about service animal access through the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and how we can work together to create welcoming public spaces for everyone.
The evening will feature:
• Inspiring stories from local service animal handlers.
• A practical presentation on service animal access, ADA rights and responsibilities, and common misconceptions.
• Time for questions, discussion, and community conversation.
• Opportunities to connect with local organizations and community leaders.
Businesses and organizations that complete the training will receive Mojo Approved recognition, demonstrating their commitment to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for individuals who rely on service animals.
