Open Ceramics Hours — With Torie of Queen of Cups
This session is designed for returning students who have already taken our Hand-Built Planter Workshop and are ready to keep creating. Open Ceramics Hours offers a relaxed, self-directed studio experience with guidance available throughout.
All materials are provided so you can explore and build the projects you’re most excited about. Whether you’re shaping a mug, jewelry holder, trinket dish, magick altar, or an idea entirely your own, Torie will be on hand to answer questions, troubleshoot, and offer creative support as you work.
After class, all pieces will be professionally glazed and fired. Finished work will be ready for pickup in approximately 4 weeks. Torie will text you when your pieces are complete, and they can be picked up at Life is Succulent.
This is a cozy, low-pressure space to deepen your skills, experiment with clay, and enjoy time in community while making functional and meaningful ceramics!
What You Can Expect to Make
Mugs, cups, or drinkware - completely functional!
Jewelry holders and trinket dishes
Magick altars or ritual pieces
Small planters or vases
Personalized bowls or plates - completely functional!
Small figurines or doodads
Any other hand-built clay creations you can imagine!
✔ Prerequisite: Participants must have completed our Hand-Built Planter Workshop or have prior hand-building experience with Torie/Queen of Cups.
Workshop Logistics
Duration: Approximately 2 hours
Arrival: Please arrive 10 minutes early to get settled.
Studio Format: Open, self-directed making with guided support available.
Materials: All clay and tools provided.
Firing & Pickup: Pieces will be glazed and fired after class and ready for pickup in approximately 4 weeks. Torie will text when your work is ready. Pickup is at Life is Succulent.
