Open Call For Young Artists: Stories in Motion

Travel Through Art Studio, in partnership with Ultra Education, is inviting young people aged 7–20 to get involved in Stories in Motion – a month-long exhibition celebrating creativity, imagination and storytelling through art.

Taking place at Deptford Lounge in the heart of Deptford from 1–29 August 2026, the exhibition will bring together young artists, families and the local community to celebrate creativity. The programme will also include an International Creative Exchange with Toronto, Canada and a special launch event on Saturday 1 August.

There are two ways to get involved.

We're looking for original artwork by young people aged 7–20.

You might enjoy painting, drawing, illustration, photography or mixed media—or simply have a story you'd like to tell through art.

Selected artwork will be displayed as part of the Stories in Motion exhibition throughout August.

As part of the exhibition launch on Saturday 1 August, we're also looking for young artists, makers and creative entrepreneurs to take part in the Young Creators Fair.

If you create artwork, greetings cards, prints, jewellery, crafts or other handmade products, this is a chance to share your work with the public and be part of a day celebrating young creativity.

Whether you're already applying for the exhibition or just interested in having a creative stall, we'd love to hear from you.
