Announcing Open Auditions for The 10th Annual Sarah Frank & Jack Balcombe Dream Project The Emerald Earring – by Justin Nostrala

Claire—Mid 50s
Bob—Claire’s husband, also mid 50s
Pete—Claire & Bob’s 25-year-old son
Florence—Pete’s fiancée
Horace—Bob’s slightly older brother
Lisa—a student at the University of Texas at Austin
Terry Gross—host of the NPR program, Fresh Air (will double as the server)
No need to prepare a monologue, cuts from the script will be made available. Please arrive 15 mins early to fill out audition paperwork and bring a current headshot/picture for the casting team.
A dark comedy, written by local playwright Justin Nostrala. The story is about a woman’s struggle between trying to support the institution of marriage and family, while reckoning with her beliefs about abortion.
