Help us celebrate! Join us for an exhibition bringing together the artists whose work has defined the gallery’s first year in Salem.One year ago, Stefani Art Gallery opened its doors in downtown Salem with a simple goal: to create a space where art could be approached with care and experienced over time.
This exhibition marks that first chapter.
The works shown come from artists whose practices have shaped the gallery’s early days. Across painting, photography, and mixed media, each piece reflects a shared dedication to craft, discipline, and thoughtful expression.
At the House of Stefani, creation and curation engage in quiet dialogue. The studio defines and sharpens the process of making, while the gallery preserves and contextualizes it, allowing art to move beyond its moment of creation and into everyday life.
What started as an opening has slowly evolved into a rhythm: exhibitions unfolding thoughtfully, conversations forming around the work, and collections beginning to take shape.
The signature photograph, A New Life by Christina Stefani, captured at sunrise along the North Shore of Oʻahu, is the featured work of the evening and will be included in our anniversary drawing. We invite you to join us and have your name considered.
This exhibition simply reflects that beginning. Art here is not meant for a fleeting moment.
It is meant to last.
