This is your formal invitation to *the* event of the season:
To those who choose the rainy afternoon with a book and a cup of tea over almost anything else. For those who have turned the last page of a story and grieved the world they had to leave behind. For those who have always wanted to arrive, in style, at court.
Which court? That's for you to decide.
First Impressions ( the working title of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice ) invites the Bridgertons, the fae realms, the debutantes, the creatures of the dark with lethal vibes and impeccable fashion. All are welcome. Dress accordingly:
On April 18th, the Grand Ballroom is yours.
The Salem Paper Arts Fair arrives by day with 40+ independent artists, printmakers, authors, and zine makers, free and open to all, 11am–5pm. When the sun goes down, the candles are lit, and the Booklover's Ball begins.
Live music. Open bar. 25+ artists and authors still on the vendor floor. Costumes and formalwear encouraged, because we all need an excuse to dress up ;)
