Featuring Art Podell, founding member of The New Christy Minstrels and a living link to the Greenwich Village folk scene of the 1960s; Severin Browne, former Motown staff songwriter and beloved California troubadour; Tracy Newman, Emmy-winning comedy writer, founding member of The Groundlings, and a songwriter with equal gifts for humor, beauty, and emotional depth; Ken Holme, a master of quirky, heartfelt songs that can make you laugh one minute and tear up the next; Craig Lincoln, a sharp arranger and guitarist known for intricate, clever, deeply musical songwriting; Kevin Kelso, pianist, musical theater writer, and resident “new guy” with songs that wander wonderfully through literature, stagecraft, donuts, and turtles; and John Zipperer, a NAMBA favorite whose Americana blend of blues, country, jazz, and soaring vocals helped bring this extraordinary circle to Ventura.
