About this Event
Note that these seminars are hosted online and are asynchronous (a recorded event). Participants will receive an email (from this Eventbrite site) with links to access the recorded webinars immediately following successful registration. Please note that all participants will have immediate access to view the three webinars. Participants of the three CE webinars will qualify for 6 CE Credits - BAO Category A (Note that it is NOT a requirement to have any CE in category B).
The first webinar: Dying With Dignity Canada offered a presentation on medical assistance in dying. Hosted by Kelsey Goforth and Katherine Martins, our speakers dove into the legislative history of assisted dying in Canada as well as the eligibility criteria, safeguards, and barriers to access for MAID in Canada today.
The second webinar: This is a recording of a webinar hosted by Michelle Clarke and some of the FSE Team designed for you to learn about the exciting transformations that have happened in the program. These changes were implemented to meet growing industry needs related to staffing shortages and to respond to feedback received from the field. You’re going to be surprised by how things are operating now!! This is a category A webinar.
The third webinar: This is a recording of a webinar hosted by Michelle Jarvi and Sasha Rice from Ontario Health. They discussed how organ and tissue donation and transplantation services across the province of Ontario are coordinated and delivered to support all health care and allied professionals, advocates and the Ontario public in fulfilling their shared and integrated responsibilities in saving the lives of Ontarians waiting for a life-saving transplant.
