Hey yall!
I’m super excited to present to you the One Love Open Mic Night! 🎤💖This is a showcase dedicated to standing against gun violence and protecting your community. As some of you may know, my brother was recently shot several times while breaking up an altercation between two neighbors. On top of that he was wrongfully convicted and is sitting in jail with bullets inside him receiving minimal medical treatment. Although he’s trying to stay in good spirits, we’re trying to get him out asap so he can get proper medical care. All ticket sales and funds will go towards his bail, and any medical/legal expenses he might need. My brother has always been a huge advocate for his community, mentoring youth, and being a light to those around him. He is also a lover of the arts so I think this would be an awesome way to honor and help him, as he’s helped so many others.
Doors open and sign up starts at 7pm Show starts at 8pm Sounds by the amazing Suki!
House Party Cafe has some of the best food and drinks in BK, so please don’t bring in any from the outside! This also IS NOT a 4/20 venue (I’m sorry lol) so if you want to smoke please step outside and take a few steps away from the venue!!!!
