One For The Books: Walk With Us!

Join us on this short walk to celebrate 90 years since the Central Library building opened and to reflect on how library services changed from 1934 to 2024. What can you access in a library today? Where may people have gone to access these services in 1934? Come along and find out!

Please be aware the walk will take about an hour and we’ll be crossing roads. We recommend you wear appropriate footwear. We'll start from Central Library, stroll around the city centre and then return to the library for some refreshments. The event is for all ages, but children must be accompanied by an adult.
