Join Maggie Kiedrowski, RYT-200, Certified yoga4cancer Instructor, and breast cancer survivor, for a special Oncology Yoga Class.This class is open to:
-Anyone who has been diagnosed with cancer.
-Those currently undergoing treatment (with healthcare provider clearance).
-Individuals living with the side effects of cancer treatments.
About the Class:
Cancer affects us deeply—physically, emotionally, and psychologically. Treatments can leave lingering side effects, and our bodies are forever changed. While the challenges and goals are unique for everyone, we share a common desire: to reconnect with our bodies and regain strength and confidence.
Yoga offers powerful benefits:
✨ Reduce stress and anxiety.
✨ Manage treatment side effects.
✨ Rebuild strength, flexibility, and balance.
✨ Reconnect with your body after surgery.
What to Expect:
One-hour yoga practice: Gentle, accessible poses with modifications, breathing exercises, meditation, and a relaxing savasana.
One-hour community circle: After yoga, enjoy tea and the opportunity to share your journey with others in a safe, supportive space. You’re welcome to stay or leave as needed.
Details:
🗓 When: The last Wednesday of every month from 6-8 PM.
📍 Where: Sukha Inspired Yoga Studio
Sukha Inspired Yoga provides all the props you’ll need—just bring water, wear comfortable clothing, and most importantly, bring yourself. If you need to a chair for your yoga practice, please let us know ahead of time and we can accommodate.
Cost is $18 to drop in to the 2 hour event or existing Sukha students can use a class pass or membership.
