What you will learn from this course
The Restore Oncology Scar Specialist course will enable you to provide a comprehensive scar treatment to a client after cancer surgery and radiotherapy. You can expect to help people with itching, pain, limited movement, cosmetically inferior scars and symptoms associated with internal adhesions. Treatment may not completely resolve issues, but can often provide symptom relief. In early scar healing you will be able to advise on topical products and self-scar care.

Course Details
Your course includes online pre-course learning, live Zooms (optional) and two days in-person, with a case study requirement.

Full Schedule:
Self-Paced Theory: Allow 4-5 hours to complete your online theory learning. This will be available from 4 weeks prior to your in-person course or once full payment has been made, whichever is the later.
Welcome Zoom: Wednesday 24th June 2026, 19:00 – 20:30.
In-Person: Saturday 27th to Sunday 28th June 2026, 09:30 – 17:00.
Case Studies: Document treatments with oncology clients who have had recent or historic surgery or cording/AWS (two treatments per client, total four treatments). Submission due on Friday 24th July 2026.
Final Zoom: Friday 29th July 2026, 19:00 – 20:30.
The live Zoom dates are informal group discussions to support you, if you can not attend these are recorded.
