On Our Own of Maryland’s 2026 Annual Conference

Our theme this year is "Courage in Community: Finding Our Individual and Collective Power," focusing on honoring our authentic voices, igniting our individual power and strengthening our collective impact to influence the policies and systems that affect our lives. Join us for two days of learning, connecting, and transforming!

Since 1993, OOOMD's Annual Conference has been recognized as one of the most engaging and empowering events for Marylanders with lived experience of behavioral health (mental health and/or substance use), as well as a significant training opportunity for peers, providers, stakeholders, and policymakers to explore the power and potential of peer-driven wellness and recovery programs and initiatives.

All Information will be updated on our conference website as it is available.

All attendees need to purchase an individual ticket to the conference. Tickets must be purchased in advance and will not be available after May 1, 2026.

Your conference ticket does not include lodging. Please see below for more information about reserving a room at the conference hotel.

There are two types of tickets available:

• Full Conference: Provides access to all conference sessions and the Awards Dinner.
• Livestream Only (Virtual): Selected conference sessions will be livestreamed through a private link available to ticket holders. Links will be sent in the days prior to the conference.

OOOMD is unfortunately not able to offer scholarship applications to the public at this time. Should opportunities arise, updates will be announced through our email mailing list and posted on this site.

We are excited to host the 2025 OOOMD Annual Conference at Maryland's largest oceanfront resort, the Princess Royale Oceanfront Resort! Enjoy spacious suites, a stunning four-story tropical atrium, an Olympic-sized indoor pool, and of course views of the beautiful ocean. The perfect setting for an unforgettable conference experience!

Deadline for reservations: April 12, 2026

Hotel reservations are made directly with the Princess Royale. OOOMD has a room block with different types of rooms available at different price points.

Purchasing hotel rooms can be done in one of two ways:

On Our Own of Maryland values the autonomy, dignity, and choice of all people. We want to transparently share the potential risks and benefits of participating in our Annual Conference, as well as the proactive and responsive protocols we use to create a welcoming and respectful space, so that community members are able to make an informed and voluntary decision about participating in any activity.

All participation is always voluntary. Participants can withdraw from any activity at any time and for any reason. All attendees are asked to review and agree to the following as part of the registration process:
