Artist Statement
“I originally came up with the title On // Off The Island for lack of a better name, but it grew on me. Most of the work showcases Staten Island, but I also wanted to highlight pieces I shot off the island and, in some cases, out of state. People can expect to see familiar Staten Island sights and experiences, along with some of my favorite photos taken over the last several years, including works I’ve never displayed before.
This exhibition invites viewers to explore familiar places and unexpected perspectives, celebrating stories from Staten Island and beyond.”
