About this Event

Is it an Old World wine or a New World wine—and does it really matter? From the historic vineyards of Europe to the innovative wine regions of the Americas, Australia, New Zealand, and beyond, these two wine philosophies have shaped how wine is made, enjoyed, and discussed around the world. Join us as we explore the traditions, styles, and personalities that make each approach unique.

Hosted by WineNot Experiences founder and WSET Diploma holder Svetlana Yanushkevich, together with special guest Richard Jacob of Vinilandia Wine Company, this tasting will feature six carefully selected wines presented side-by-side from Old World and New World regions. Through guided comparisons and small food pairings, you'll discover how climate, history, winemaking, and culture influence what ends up in your glass.

Spend an enjoyable summer evening with fellow wine lovers in the beautiful historic Hunt Building. Taste, compare, discuss, and decide for yourself—which style speaks to you most? Old World, New World, or perhaps a little of both. Expect great wines, engaging stories, lively conversation, and a journey around the world without leaving Nashua.
