This month, spend the evening with Chef Ed Aloise and Angie Shannon —featuring chef-driven bites and perfectly paired pours from Shannon Family Wines. Guests will enjoy a guided lineup of dishes and wines with pairing tips as well as learning the geography of Lake County and Shannon Family Wines' commitment to sustainability.

Chef Ed Aloise has owned and operated four highly successful restaurant concepts. Ed and his wife, Claudia, opened New Hampshire's first certified farm-to-table restaurant, Republic Café in Manchester, in 2010. In 2012, they were James Beard National Semi-Finalists for Best Restaurateurs. Since leaving the day-to-day operations of his restaurants, Ed has established a hospitality consulting company, has been a sought-after guest chef, and recently published his first book of fiction short stories.

Proprietor of Shannon Family Wines, Angie Shannon was raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, and obtained her bachelor's degree from the University of Mississippi. Following her college years, she relocated to Nashville, Tennessee, where she secured her initial position in the beverage industry with Anheuser -Busch. Subsequently, she held various roles in multiple cities, overseeing both on and off-premise operations for Red Bull North America.
In 2006, Angie embarked on a new venture by establishing a wine division within her family's distribution business in Ohio. It was during this time that her profound appreciation for all things wine blossomed. It was also during her tenure in the wine industry that Angie met Clay Shannon, as she assumed the role of National Sales Manager for Shannon Family of Wines. Presently, Angie actively contributes to the Sales, Marketing, and Hospitality divisions of Shannon Family of Wines.
