June through October, the Old Northside (Kenosha) Neighborhood Historic Walking Tour will meet at 11am in front of Anna's on the Lake coffee shop. The tour is expected to last 90 minutes and will make its way through the old north side of Kenosha: "over the Rhine."
Historically, the neighborhood was a mix of workers and business owners, primarily immigrants from Central and Eastern Europe, and shows a slice of life in the self-contained urban neighborhood of the past. The tours are led by volunteer historians, who grew up in the neighborhood.
Reservations for the Walking Tour are $10 per person. Contact the Kenosha History Center to make your reservation: 262-654-5770 or by emailing [email protected]. No physical tickets will be handed out; the tour guides will have the names registered on a list the day of the tour.
The 2026 tour dates are: June 6, July 18, September 5, and October 17.
