On Sunday, June 14th, the Essex Community Historical Society, and members of
Scouting America TROOP 635, Essex Town, will be collecting you faded, or frayed
American Flags. The collection will take place at the Harriet Farnsworth Powell
Historical Society, 3 Brown’s River Road, Essex Center, from 1 – 4 p.m.
At a later date to be determined, the scouts will hold a retiring ceremony.
