Please join Better In Boots Line Dancing for lessons and open dance at the Essex Resort & Spa- located in the Farmhouse. This is an absolutely beautiful location with a large open floor and stunning outside patio overlooking their pond. I am honored to be bringing line dancing to this stunning location for the Essex community and beyond.
Inside the resort is The Lazy Goat Tavern. You can show up early and dine in for dinner or place a to go order and bring it over to the Farmhouse and enjoy dinner on the patio. Please note that wait times for food may vary depending on the volume of business we bring to them, so show up early and get your order in so you don't miss any of the dancing.
Doors will open at 5:30pm if you want to sit and enjoy the patio and check out the beautiful venue.
We will begin playing music at 6pm for open dancing until roughly 6:30pm when lessons will begin. Lessons will vary from beginner to improver and will alternate throughout the evening with open dancing and all requests and all skill levels.
💵 Admission: $15 per person cash at the door. We will not presell tickets as this location has a very large capacity, we likely will never hit.
Whether you're brand new or have a few dances under your belt, there's something for everyone.
💃 Beginner-Friendly dances will always be taught first!
No experience required—we’ll teach you everything you need to know!

Do I need boots? Nope! Wear whatever is comfortable.
Is this couples dancing? No, this is single line dancing—though you’re welcome to turn it into a partner dance if you like.
Hydration reminder: This is exercise! Please stay hydrated. The bar will be open for drinks, and you can bring your own water!
Absolutely no outside alcohol allowed!
Clean shoes, please! If your shoes are muddy, bring a clean pair to change into for the dance floor.
Do I need to know how to line dance? Absolutely not—that’s what I’m here for! 😉
