St. Vincent de Paul Parish to Host Inaugural Oktoberfest Benefiting Mother Seton Soup Kitchen
CHICAGO, Ill. — St. Vincent de Paul Parish invites adults 21 and over to its inaugural Oktoberfest on Saturday, September 19, from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., at the parish campus, 1010 W. Webster Avenue, Chicago.
The festive celebration will feature authentic Oktoberfest fare, live musical entertainment, and craft beer from Dovetail Brewery, one of Chicago’s acclaimed independent breweries. Known for its continental European beer styles and traditional brewing methods, Dovetail Brewery will help bring an authentic Oktoberfest experience to the parish festival while showcasing one of Chicago’s premier craft breweries.
Admission is by suggested donation, with all proceeds benefiting the Mother Seton Soup Kitchen at St. Vincent de Paul Parish. The Soup Kitchen provides more than 1,000 meals each month to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity on Chicago’s North Side.
“Oktoberfest is more than a celebration—it’s an opportunity for our community to come together in support of our neighbors in need,” said parish organizers. “Every donation helps provide nourishing meals and compassionate care through the Mother Seton Soup Kitchen.”
