You will learn to:
Mix and organise colour using a limited palette
See and simplify value, temperature and chroma
Build paintings from large relationships to smaller details
Across the term, students complete a series of colour exercises and still life paintings, developing a practical and cohesive approach to working in oils.
Small group - maximum 10 students
Oil paints, mediums, solvents and studio consumables provided
Students supply their own brushes and painting surfaces
