Jump into a vibrant adventure with gouache in the exciting new class at the Cole Creativity Center inside the Santa Paula Art Museum! Join artist Jem Morris for a four-part journey delving into the world of gouache, with a focus on seascapes. Discover the secrets of composition, light, color, and texture in this hands-on experience. Get ready for engaging discussions and fun exercises that will set you on the path to creating your masterpiece!This four-part course will be taught on four consecutive Wednesdays: January 15, January 22, January 29, February 5, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
This course is for ages 16 and over. The cost of the four-part course is $115 per person. All skill levels are welcome and all materials are provided. Preregistration is required and space is limited. The course will be held inside the Cole Creativity Center located at 123 N 10th St, Santa Paula, CA. Free parking is available directly behind the building and students may enter through the front or back door.
