This Saturday, November 15th, our link is with Sonica.
Sonica Festival was Italy’s first traveling psytrance festival, kicking off in 2005 and running strong ‘til 2018. It brought together the best artists from around the world and pulled massive crowds from every corner of the planet.
More than just a fest, Sonica spread the spirit of an international movement — a tribe of hippies, travelers, and music lovers who lit up Italy with color and sound.
Representing Sonica here in Pisa, we got DJ Gino and DJ Ypnotika takin’ over the decks.

Gino is the founder and producer of Sonica Dance Festival, a veteran of the global psychedelic scene. His journey began in the late '80s with acid-house, leading him to DJing and organizing underground parties in Naples under United Tribes, promoting artists from London and Detroit.
After traveling through India, Goa, and South America (1996-1999), he returned to psytrance, collaborating with Neurobiotic Records and later founding Sonica Festival in 2004. Over the years, he played at top festivals like Boom, Ozora, Modem, Universo Parallelo, Tribal Gathering, and was a resident DJ in Goa.
Gino's style fuses cyber and psychedelic frequencies with deep, hypnotic basslines. As founder of Sonica Recordings, he has released acclaimed compilations, including "Chacruna" (2008), "Vesuvius" (2016), and "Psychedelic Minds VA" (2017).
Currently, he continues as a stage manager for Ozora Festival and works on new releases to celebrate Sonica Festival’s 20th anniversary.

Paolo Ypnotika is an Italian Psytrance DJ from Rome. His journey into electronic music began in the early '90s, when he fell in love with the Techno scene and started playing vinyl in 1993.
After immersing himself in the psychedelic scene and attending numerous parties, he gravitated toward Psytrance, developing a unique sound that blends Techno’s hypnotic energy with the depth of psychedelic music. Over the years, he has collaborated with various Italian crews, including Sonica Dance Festival and WAO Festival.
His sets are an explosion of energy, a powerful mix of Psytrance and Techno, enriched with effects, synthesized loops, and real-time manipulations, creating a dynamic and immersive sound experience.

∆∆ OFFLABEL [Blacklite Records]

OffLabel is a psytrance project by Tony Vallini, born and raised in Italy. He started as techno DJ when he was 16 in 1995, then few years later he started as a producer, always taking care to maintain his own style. He found himself drawn into the psytrance world, already having a lot of experience as a Techno artist, Dj and party promoter.
In 2018 He joined the well known Blacklite Records family, after changing his style. More complex psychedelic sounds, deeper basslines, acid synths and a vast tempo increase, in line with the new trends of the genre. On stage, OffLabel provides a Live Set together with many atmospheric effects and sounds that are created live and on the spot.
It is a very engaging show with a powerful music vibes that audiences love.

Dome La Muerte, pseudonym of Domenico Petrosino (Pisa, May 18, 1958), is an Italian guitarist, songwriter, and disc jockey. He is one of the leading figures of the Italian hardcore punk movement of the 1980s.

Yopo was born from the collaboration between Vito and Alessio. He offers deep, introspective psychedelic music, never predictable or straightforward. His sound takes the listener on a unique journey, exploring complex and thought-provoking soundscapes.

Amanita was born in 2021 as a hitech project by Francesca, based in Florence.
Amanita begins to discover the world of electronic music with free parties, becoming passionate about the deep and concise sounds of tekno and its powerful bass.
In 2019 he approached psychedelic music, starting to attend Italian and international festivals. Here starts the desire to express herself in the psytrance universe.
With her DJ sets, Amanita ranges from darker to more groovy sounds, in an eclectic journey with a high bpm content where the watchword is full power. In 2025 she joined Modulate Music, an hitech label established in India by BionicForm.

Smashroom is the fierce half of Bikury, pushing the pace to dizzying heights while touching on hitech and tekno frequencies, yet keeping a joyful atmosphere. With unique performances every time and live–played synths, she aims to keep the crowd jumping from start to finish.

∆∆ SIRIO | HAPPY B-DAY [Offlabel Crew]

Sirio began his musical journey in 2004 when he met Tony Vallini, a techno DJ at the time. Inspired by his style, Sirio followed him to performances and studio sessions, learning mixing techniques and developing his own sound. Their friendship led him to officially become a DJ, focusing on psytrance with dark and forest undertones.

Cristina Rovini, visual artist and performer, has been a key presence in the Italian underground scene, moving between art, theatre, and music. Partner of Dome La Muerte and collaborator with figures such as Matteo Guarnaccia, she has created powerful graphics, stage designs, and installations. Today, as Mama Cri – Dread Revolution, she brings reggae vibes to every dancefloor.
