Official Launch of the Te Poutoko Ora a Kiwa WHO Collaborating Centre
About this Event
We warmly invite you to join us as we celebrate the official launch of Te Poutoko Ora a Kiwa as a World Health Organization (WHO) Collaborating Centre for Noncommunicable Diseases and Climate Change.
The launch will provide an opportunity to celebrate this important achievement and acknowledge the collective contributions that have supported the Centre’s work.
The programme will feature:
- Prof. Warwick Bagg, Dean, Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, Waipapa Taumata Rau | University of Auckland
- Dr Paula Vivili, Director General, Pacific Community (SPC)
- Dr Saia Ma'u Piukala, Regional Director, WHO Western Pacific Region
- Prof. Sir Collin Tukuitonga, Co-Director of Te Poutoko Ora a Kiwa and Director of the WHO Collaborating Centre for NCDs and Climate Change
- John Pulu, Master of Ceremonies
The formal programme will be followed by entertainment and refreshments.
