Off the Record: Youth Week acoustic sessions

When did you last discover a new favourite song live? Not through a playlist or a recommendation feed, but in a room so intimate you can actually feel the music. That’s Off the Record, an event that sold out last year and left everyone asking for more. So we’re bringing it back, bigger and better than before: a one-night-only acoustic pop-up where Sydney’s most exciting emerging artists take over a corporate space after dark.

Think hidden jazz bar meets Tiny Desk–style vibe, with live performances across multiple genres - from soft indie melodies to rap and everything in between. It’s a line-up of rising Sydney artists you’ll want to say you discovered first.

If that wasn’t incentive enough, there’s also free gourmet food. Enjoy quality bites that accompany the live performances.

Whether you’re a die-hard music lover, a casual listener, or just curious about Sydney’s creative scene, Off the Record is your chance to break away from the mainstream and discover your next favourite track while supporting passionate local young creatives.

This event is free for young people aged 16 to 24 who live, work, study or play in the City of Sydney’s area. It’s designed and presented by young creatives from the City of Sydney’s youth opportunities program as part of Youth Week in the City. Limited tickets available, registrations essential.
