OETA Presents Back in Time: Geronimo Premiere Screening & Panel Discussion
Schedule
Thu, 09 Apr, 2026 at 01:00 pm
UTC-05:00Location
Oklahoma History Center Museum | Oklahoma City, OK
This episode focuses on Geronimo, one of the most complex and legendary figures of the American West. To some, he was a renegade. To others, a hero. To his own people, he was a protector fighting for survival. As the American West changed and borders were drawn in ink and blood, Geronimo became a symbol of resistance and resilience. He was the last warrior to surrender and spent his final years as a prisoner of war in Oklahoma.
Following the screening, join us for a panel discussion with historians and filmmakers, offering deeper insight into the story and its connections to Oklahoma history.
This event is a unique opportunity to experience the film before its broadcast premiere and engage in meaningful conversation about the history that shaped our state.
