About this Event

As a Trust, we have made a number of arrangements to prepare for Benedict’s law coming into effect from September 2026. Benedict’s Law is a set of statutory allergy safety requirements for all schools in England. It mandates that schools publish specific allergy policies, provide staff training, stock spare emergency adrenaline auto-injectors, and create Individual Healthcare Plans (IHPs) for pupils with diagnosed allergies.

This face-to-face Anaphylaxis & Asthma Annual Refresher training for school staff at 6 venues across our hubs. The training takes 1 hour 15 minutes and will be at a hugely reduced cost of £15pp (recharge to schools centrally).

Please choose the date, time and venue that suits your staff members best.

  • Thursday 3rd September – St Frideswides (Oxford)
  • Friday 4th September – The Batt , Witney (West Oxon)
  • Monday 7th September – New Town (Reading)
  • Monday 14th September – South Moreton (South Oxon)
  • Wednesday 16th September – Dr Radcliffes (North Oxon)
  • Tuesday 29th September – All Saints Juniors (RBWM)

We ask that schools only sign up a maximum of 2 members of staff per session throughout the day with a maximum of 8 bookings per school in total initially to ensure we distribute the training fairly.

For those driving and wishing to park, there is a car parking code which you will be sent after booking. However if the car park is full on the day there may be parking on the roads available around the school but there is a 2 hour time limit.

This training is strictly for ODST staff only.
