October 2026 Singer/Songwriter Showcase

Every third month, the JAKL Open Mic becomes a singer/songwriter showcase featuring lots of local songwriting talent. We normally do a Nashville-style song circle and we get three performers at a time on stage to alternate three songs apiece. We usually get around 12 performers to do four rounds. Sometimes we squeeze in a few more performers. This is one of the few opportunities in the MOT area to hear original, locally-written music.
