Stained Glass 6-Week Series: For High Schoolers

Work alongside an instructor with 35 years of stained glass experience. Over six weeks you'll learn safe tool handling, glass cutting, grinding, foiling, and soldering, then finish 2-3 pieces to bring home and display! Small classes, close supervision. Ages 14 to 18. No experience needed. All materials and safety gear provided.

About the instructor: David Shaw
I have been making stained glass art for 35 years. I'm experienced on both copper foil and lead came methods. My work has included hanging pieces; church, school, and home installations; lampshades and other 3-D items; and mixed-media inclusions. My aunt wanted two panels in her home and paid for me to take a 6-week class in exchange for building the windows. I never looked back! I demonstrate the various skills and then coach you as you pick up experience.
