Have you ever wanted to tell a 5-7 minute true personal story like you hear on storytelling podcasts like "The Moth" or "Risk!" or "Snap Judgment?" This is your perfect opportunity!
Has a closed door ever been an object of menace or the stuff of your nightmares? Could you not get through to safety or were you trying to keep something horrible out? Did you ever feel claustrophobic as you entered a prison lock down? Were you in the back seat of a car where the child locks were engaged and you were desperate to get out? Did you find yourself in a dark place and you had no choice but to face your fears?
Also, October is Spooky Month! So any spooky story will do, featuring closed doors or not.
Tell your story to the mic and you'll receive the applause of a grateful audience! Admission is free, but a courtesy purchase from Good Sandwich is appropriate.
