About this Event
“E Onipaʻa I Ka ʻImi Naʻauao,” or “Be Steadfast in the Seeking of Knowledge” will honor the compositions of Hawaiʻi’s royal siblings, known as Nā Lani ʻEhā, or The Heavenly Four. Walea and other musical guests will play timeless compositions like “Aloha ʻOe” and “Ke Aloha O Ka Haku” on vintage instruments recently acquired by the State Archives.
Hand-written sheet music and other documents from Her Majesty’s personal manuscript collection will also be on display.
