COURSE INFO -
Local shredders Jesse Wilson and Jonny Wake have found and crafted what is potentially NZ's best disc golf - disc golf course. Just over a year old, "Buckley" is an absolute gem of a course that has been expertly integrated into the Buckley (ball) Golf Course in the rural town of Shannon.
Shannon, in the North Island of New Zealand, is just over an hours drive from the capital city Wellington (with international airport) and is just a few kilometres off of the National SH1. Small town hospitality NZ at it's finest!
Wanting to step in and help the NZDG find a venue for the 2026 North Island Champs, they enlisted the help of the event veterans at Disc Shop NZ.
Course managers Jesse and Jonny will also be teaming up with the local disc golf club MTDG to help with logistics. The focus will be on a very well run, yet low key North Island Champs, highlighting a disc golf course that speaks for itself.

Most divisions will play at least 3 rounds of this f-bomb level, multi layout course.
Whilst priority will be given to the 3 day registrations, if those spots sell out we will have spaces for those that can only make two days.

Registrations will open for up to 16 international players in Mid December see registration schedule (in case they need to make plans with other events). After that tiered registration will start to roll out in early 2026.
